Comb, Face, Wattles and Ear-Lobes: Bright
red.
Weight: Cock: 7-9 pounds
Cockerel: 6-8 pounds Beak: Dark Horn. Horn colored.
Eyes: Reddish Bay Orangey-Red
Head: Copper (varying from mid-copper to red-copper)
Neck: Hackle—Deep Copper color (mid-coppery to red-coppery, but not golden or straw color)
Copper colored in all neck hackle and back.

Tail: Main
Tail—Lustrous with slight luster.
Strong at its base, Tail angle 60 degrees before any points to be taken off. Fairly up without going over the 45 degree angle. Disqualification at 60 degrees.
Wings: Shoulders: Mahogany Red Color
Bows-Bay: Lustrous Deep Copper to match back.
Copper colored in all neck hackle and back. Deep red shoulders.
Coverts: Lustrous black forming a black armband.
Primaries: Black
Secondaries: Black (exposed portion form a lustrous black triangle.)
Breast: Black or with slightly copper marks. Black breasted red with parsimonious red spotting on the breast. No more than 10 percent.
Body: Black Plumage
Legs and lower thigh: Black
Plumage on Shanks and toes—Black
Shanks: big without vulture hocks.
Leg or Tarsi: Dark slate , bottom of feet pinkish white. Light pinkish light gray exceeding down to pinkish white feet and under pads. Dark gray permitted but not preferred.
The Hen Matured
Plumage: Black with copper hackles.
Black with red hackle markings but with out the Birchen lacing. Very slight red breast marking is acceptable
Weight: Hen: 6-7 pounds
Pullet: 5-6 pounds
Legs: Plumage on Shanks—Black
Shanks & Toes- Dark slate, bottom of feet pinkish white.
Light pinkish gray exceeding down leg to pinkish white feet and under pads.
Serious defects: Below brown spots on body.
DQ'd Hen, Partridge Look straw color in hackles and breast.
